Terminal object recognition and environment awareness under 5G


Vision sensors have the advantages of large amount of information and low cost, but they also face the demand for large amounts of data calculation. In the application of industrial unmanned vehicles, 5G edge computing and vision technology complement each other: the information collected by the vision camera is transmitted to the cloud through the 5G network, and edge computing is used to extract and process image information. The on-board visual perception module can perceive obstacles within 20m, assisting the unmanned driving of industrial vehicles.

1) Cloud-based terminal equipment.5G technology has the characteristics of large connections and low latency, enabling communication between remote devices. With the deepening of logistics automation, a large number of repetitive tasks and data transmission are transferred to industrial robots. Manuals will be more focused on temporary, non-standard inventory, inspection, search, verification and other complex work links, personnel training and Scheduling will be more specialized and standardized, and optimal configuration will be achieved.
